Steve: Based on these specs, this definitely sounds like an older MacBook. OSX 10.4, IE, Tiger, had a very primative version of VoiceOver. Unless you upgrade the operating system, you will probably find this version of VoiceOver more frustrating than useful. Also, the multi-touch track pad gestures are only supported in OSX 10.6, Snow Leopard. I'm not positive, but I would doubt this older Mac Book has the hardware to support multi-touch gestures. My advice would be to save your money and purchase a new Mac Book. Hope this helps. Hi everyone,, I am a recent convert to the iphone which I find amazingly accessible, so I thought I may switch allegiance from my PC to an Apple Mac computer.. I have seen a second hand Mac Book laptop with a 1.33Ghz G4 processor and 1Gb of memory. It is running OS 10.4. I thought this machine might be a good introduction for me to the world of the Mac without spending lots of money on a new machine until I know it is suitable for me. My questions are 1. Will this Mac Book have the multi gesture touch pad? 2. Will voiceover be available on OS 10.4? Any other comments or advice would be appreciated. Regards, Steve.
