Maybe that is a question we should all focus on, what networks are bring in
sales income? In Nashville, we make most of our money leasing out streams, but
then, we do not have “boots on the ground” selling. Was told long ago in big
markets where there are full-power, advertising dollars go to the top 3 and
there are slim pickens for the rest of the stations. Did go in the early days
of Retro TV when they were the only network offering Classic TV but when other
networks jumped on the band wagon and took away the go shows, that dried up.
So which stations out there are making advertising sales and on what
networks? Seems silly to carry a bunch of networks that you cannot sell. Would
be better to carry 2-3 in HD.
