Seeing Den has posted the details of the Tuesday walk I thought I'd
better let people know what is happening on Thursday.
I think the best idea is to park at the cafe in Baslow (which we visited
fairly recently) for a 10 am departure on Thursday, December 21st, being
the day of the winter solstice so we'll have to rush around before it gets
dark.
The plan is to head up the Bar Road, bearing right after the Hydro, through
the woods to the Sheffield Road then climbing over towards the Chesterfield
Road and into Chatsworth Park before returning to the Cafe at Baslow,
hopefully for about 12,30 pm.
If I don't see you there, may I wish you all a peaceful, healthy and happy
Christmas before we delve into the unknown of 2024.
