Having accepted the role of walk leader at the Robin Hood last Thursday I
am pleased to announce a walk on Thursday, January 26th starting from the
car park by the Bridge Inn at Ford in the Moss Valley at 10 am. We've been
there many times before though parts of our planned walk are not on
Peter's Master Map. If you aren't sure how to get there, do let me know.
We'll be heading eastwards down valley to Bowercinder Hill, then southwards
up the valley side to Bramley before turning eastwards again along Back
Lane. Eventually we turn left into Lady Ida's Drive ( a favourite place
for some), down to the river then up to Cadman Wood followed by our final
section upstream to connect with the main valley path and so to the car
park. Coffee at the Bridge. Some of the paths can be quite muddy, so if
the frost eases, be prepared.
