Earlier today, was walking past 85th and
Lexington. Crossing my path was a frizzy-haired
afro-sporting Caucasian guy with a deep 5 o'clock
shadow, wearing a denim work shirt and a billowy
pink ballet tutu with pink tights and
old-fashioned flat black converse basketball
sneakers. He was carrying--at wrist's length,
dangling like a purse--a child's lunch box that
had some bright red and yellow anime illustration
on it.
"Nice lunch box," a passerby said to him.
