Don't worry, Lawrence, I see it. You're not totally crazy. As best as I can make out, it's a piece of lint or some such similar detritus on the lens. Either that or you've taken the first photo of the famous Roswell flying hyphen. I'd not heard of Smugmug. Glad you started using them. I haven't been able to download you photos for quite a while now.
