The world protested against the Iraq invasion. Writing and calling the do nothings isn't going to do any good. The do nothings don't know what's going on anyway. They're too busy writing legislation with and for lobbyists. What amazes me is that the do nothings don't see what they're doing to the country. They simply don't see it. It's as if all of them, including the administration, are in a trance. The elites, the 1% of country that owns 35% of the wealth, don't care, and the rest of the country is too deep in debt and too distracted by distractions to care. In the meantime, Fox News is promoting White House propaganda. One has to wonder how much longer the bread and circuses will last. What the heck, tell me I'm an alarmist. > [Original Message] > From: John McCreery <john.mccreery@xxxxxxxxx> > To: <lit-ideas@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>; Anthro-L <ANTHRO-L@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Date: 10/5/2006 4:21:48 AM > Subject: [lit-ideas] October Surprise? > > Have you seen or heard about the story in The > Nation(http://www.thenation.com/doc/ > 20061009/lindorff)? > > It appears to be true that the Eisenhower Strike Group has left > Norfolk early en route to what > looks very much like war with Iran. > > Please call your representatives in Congress and the Senate and demand > to know what is > going on.
