A friend who practiced medicine in Brazil confirmed the study Andreas
posted.
In a study done 10 years ago in (highly Catholic) Brazil, adolescents
who "claimed to be virgins" were found to have high levels of STDs and
pregnancies.
Testing virginity is really a test of hypocrisy, the doctor said.
