Michael C., Didier, whoever knows French literature!
For a Japanese to English translation that my wife is working on, we
are looking for the name of the photographer whose photographs were
included in Andre Breton's surrealist novel _Nadja_. The Japanese
transliteration suggests that he, too, was an Andre, whose last name is
pronounced something like "Fo-wa-ffaru."
Any help you might offer will be greatly appreciated.
