Judy: Yes indeed. Because we're sick and tired of
pointing out that the *point*
is that the US and UK are not living up to their
ideals and alleged practices.
Survival is the point. To paraphrase Groucho,
these are our ideals. If you don't like them, we
have other ones.
Nobody lives up to their ideals except mythic
figures. The higher the ideals the greater the
difference between ideals and praxis. So
infuriated are the idealists, they miss the
idealistic Islamist sniper drawing a bead, and
blowing their brains out.
