Andy: The revenge was in the form of throwing out the Palestinians and using the land for Israel. That's a lot of revenge, not a little, and on the wrong target. And ultimately at a very high cost. V.C. That's you're view and you are entitled to it. To the Israelis I have known, it was a necessity to avoid 2,000 years of persecution everywhere. Their other issue, relevant to the other thread re war, is that the only people in the world that get respect are those that militarize big time. So, they militarized. For reasons of respect and to hold the land surrounded by 300 million people ready to throw them out. Failing that, the Palestinians will kill them, one bus at a time. And the Israelis will kill the Palestinians one house at a time. I think it's in our genes. I will be gone for a couple of days. I will answer responses when I return. Happy Thanksgiving to all.
