Dear Dave, I found it hard to believe that you had such a long exposure. The photos were so sharp. What lens did you use? How did you achieve such a depth of field in low light? How much color correction did you have to do? Studio lighting is not easy to work with as the color temperature is optimized for the cameras they use. Sorry for all the questions but I never have luck in these situations. Most problems or due to camera movement, limited depth of field and colors. Excellent job. As many of you know, by now, Rose and I have had the pleasure of osting our own Dr. Ted and his wife, Irene, while he gave interviews nd a talk, at Thompson River's University. Ted & Irene are old friends... and it's a delight to have them in ogan Lake, once again. Last Friday, Ted appeared on the Midday show, on our local TV tation. Before his spot, we waited in the "Green Room", which was nything, but green. It was also anything but bright... though I hought this next, hand held shot not too bad, for a 1/5th second exposure. Here's Ted in conversation with Valerie, one of the driving forces ehind KPAC - the Kamloops Photo Arts Club, who sponsored Ted's visit. http://www.furnfeather.net/Temps/Valerie.html Then, he was fitted with a lapel mic by Diane. http://www.furnfeather.net/Temps/Wired.html On air, Ted seemed very serious... http://www.furnfeather.net/Temps/Serious.html It was only when Ted and host, Tracy Pellizzari, turned to look at ed's photos on a monitor, that I could get a shot of the two of them... http://www.furnfeather.net/Temps/Tracy.html Finally, it was over... Ted looked both pleased.... and just a ittle relieved... http://www.furnfeather.net/Temps/Over.html Later, when I get a chance, I'll post photos of Ted's second nterview, with Kamloops' own award-winning photographer, Dave Eagles.
