Thanks My next purchase are going to be 35mm and 90mm lenses. I`m split between summicron and elmarit (2nd version). I tend to prefer lighter and more compact lenses. I´m not looking for unsurpassed sharpnes, instead I´m looking for nice out of focus areas and highlight rendition. So which way to go? Regards, Miha 2008/9/9 <wildlightphoto@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>:Miha Golobic <miha.golobic@xxxxxxxxx>As you already know, I have joined this forum two (or is it three) weeks ago. So I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your warm wellcome. Especially to Philippe Amard from whome I had bought a beautiful R3 Mot, Dough Herr, David Young and Aram Langhans for encouraging me to step in to the Leica R world. Today I got my first lens, a mint 50mm summicron, and managed to sold my two Nikons and flash (which almost paid off the Leica and the lens). Soon I will contribute some photos as well.Congratulations, I hope to see some of your photos soon!BTW, how does the exposure memory lock work?IIRC, it works in spot metering mode and when you press the shutter release partway you will see the meter needle drop. The exposure will be held until you press the shutter release the rest of the way.Doug Herr Birdman of Sacramento http://www.wildlightphoto.com ------ Unsubscribe or change to/from Digest Mode at: http://www.lrflex.furnfeather.net/ Archives are at: //www.freelists.org/archives/leicareflex/------ Unsubscribe or change to/from Digest Mode at: http://www.lrflex.furnfeather.net/ Archives are at: //www.freelists.org/archives/leicareflex/
