FWIW I think the R6 is a great mechanical camera. It is built like a
tank. I have never had any trouble with mine. I just use the R8
because I get lazy sometimes, most of the time, and let the computer
think for me.

Just a side note, I'm used to and prefer mechanical cameras (coming from Nikon F2 photomic and Leica M)
