As many of you Flexers know, the last roll of Kodachrome was shot ten years
ago by famed photographer Steve McCurry.
He was accompanied by a National Geographic crew to document the locales
where he shot it. It was processed by
Dwayne's Photo in Parsons Kansas. I think that they were the last lab in the
states to run the K14 process. I understand
that it was a complex procedure. It is essentially a B&W film where the
color couplers are introduced during the processing.
Also I was told that the chemicals used were very toxic. There should be a
You Tube channel about this.
