Andy mon ami,
thank you so very much good Sir, you have made my day "BIG TIME!"

Quite frankly I'm always concerned when doing a critique that it will be
taken the wrong way and I may hurt the photographers' feelings. And or piss
him off! Never my intention, simply because over the many years I've thought
I'd shot a cool photo only to have an experinced and dedicated photo editor
make me look harder, at what I had thought was a great photo.

Then have the editor say... "Did you notice this?" Whatever "it was" just
knocked the wind out of my sails and I'd want to quit this foolish
photography nonsense. But in reality I became a better and more observant
photographer, so little things I missed rarely happened in the future.

Photography is a subject we continually learn regardless of whom we are or
have had published in whatever field we choose. So if someone points out
something in one of my photographs that I missed or a different angle or
lighting I'm only too pleased they have done so. WHY? Well it just makes me
more carefull with greater care handling the camera. And looking harder when
making my selection during the editing process.
Thank you very much.
cheers,
ted
