[LRflex] DMR firmware update??

I have come to the conclusion that with the end of DMR sales, v1.3 of
the DMR's firmware will never see public release.
However, over on the Leica Camera User's Forum, someone asked (May
6th) if there was any news of the update.
Another chap responded with
>"Called Leica tech support Friday & got same answer- still testing
>and no release date yet. "
I'm not sure if this indicates that they really are still developing
v1.3, and it still has some hope, or whether this is Leica-speak for
"Not gonna happen!".
Anybody know anything more about this?
