You lucky people!I unfortunately only know Pisa from a 2-day business trip to visit Enel Green Power (who have their headquarters there), Florence station from changing trains and the area around Larderello underground to a depth of about 8 km (geophysical surveying and processing for geothermal energy sources).
However, the 2 days in Pisa were wonderful, a great place, getting there on the train from Milan was an adventure and really great sightseeing tour through the mountains and along the coast.
When I find time, a week in Pisa is on the cards - it's not that its expensive, TuiFLY gets me there for about €75 return from Hannover, just too busy.

I remember my walks around Monte Giovi and the Pratomagno (not to mention the Alpi Apuane and the Val di Lima)....
