Hi all, In response to a recent eye for clouds in B&W on this thread, here's one of Stonehenge taken Saturday before last with Vario-Elmar 35-70/4: http://gallery.leica-users.org/Salisbury/Stonehenge_I?set_fullOnly=on Instead of using a red filter to accentuate clouds while taking the picture, I started a red channel layer in Photoshop and adjusted Levels till I got the above result. Similar workflow in red channel layer for a second view of Stonehenge: http://gallery.leica-users.org/Salisbury/Stonehenge_II Film was Ilford XP2 Super - very fine grain at 400ASA. Same film used to take shots inside Salisbury Cathedral, i in this case added sepia tone & adjusted brightness and contrast in PS: http://gallery.leica-users.org/Salisbury/SalisburyCathedral_IV I really have a thing for arches, they captivated me as I captured them on ths same roll, with no flash: http://gallery.leica-users.org/Salisbury/SalisburyCathedral_V http://gallery.leica-users.org/Salisbury/SalisburyCathedral_VI http://gallery.leica-users.org/Salisbury/SalisburyCathedral_VII http://gallery.leica-users.org/Salisbury/SalisburyCathedral_IX This one was taken with Fujicolor 200 and Metz flash. Color was desaturated (i.e. removed) then a sepia tone was added back: http://gallery.leica-users.org/Salisbury/SalisburyCathedral_X_Sepia What do you think of this series? Comments and critiques please ;-) ! Cheers, Eric ------ Unsubscribe or change to/from Digest Mode at: http://www3.telus.net/~telyt/lrflex.htm Archives are at: //www.freelists.org/archives/leicareflex/
