My main sound is a plain Moog-style sound. Played with the portamento it
gets that thing going that is so characteristic for the old analog synths.
I have another you might like called "Fanfcomman" - yes, just like the intro
sound from Works vol. 1, give and take. But you will need an expression pedal!
Without the expression pedal it will sound shrill and very un-moogish.

If you give me a day, I'll try to put together a sound that will have that
two-octave span and slight resonance of "From the Beginning". A great
challenge. I'll send each sound as separate sysex' in a zip file.

I just subscribed to the DX mailing list on yahoogroups some days ago.
It seems that they have a lot of resources uploaded, including tons of
patches. I have also found something like, maybe, 1000 patches on the net,
but to be honest, I don't really use them. I'm more into trying to master
the synth myself. It's much more fun.

Cheers

/Frank
