Phil;

I mentioned this earlier on when we started this list.  This is not new.  I 
re-itereated this again in my last post.  Most lists do this.  This is a "FREE 
LIST"
For instance the Elecraft list does this.  Yes you can read the posts but you 
can't post unless you are subscribed.  We are a small list among millions.

Is this of concern?  If so why?

Alerted by Bill's post, I just discovered that the entire KARC Freelist is 
published on the Internet for all to see. Any concerns I expressed last night 
at the club meeting have now been replaced by the realisation that our KARC 
Freelist is not restricted to members but available to the entire Internet. 
Being a member just allows postings as well.

Am I the only KARC Freelist member who didn't realise that all our posts here 
were available to the whole world, nicely archived for the last three years?
