Our last list was with Yahoo.  It was horrible.  It dropped out regularily and 
frequently slow to refresh.  That's why we left it.

Hello Rob,

It is less of a concern now that I "know" the list is being broadcast in the 
clear on the Internet. I'll just be a lot more careful in what I post.

I take it from the discussion last night and the e-mails today that almost 
nobody realised that the list was openly available on the Internet.

Yahoo lists can be completely closed lists. I'm not suggesting we go to Yahoo, 
as long as everyone is aware that this freelist is totally open, and will post 
accordingly.
