Not here.

Although I discovered the mobo has USB3 it was not in my planning. In fact
the reverse is true as I have a bunch of old hard drives here which I intend
to slot into an external case to see what data is on them. Anything useful
will be pulled out and the drive then destroyed. I'm hoping some of my lost
design work may turn up on one of them.

Tom,

A USB 3 connected external HD would seem to be the way out of my current
bottleneck. I'm running out of storage space, with the large Scotland
photoscenery getting closer, and with no space left for another internal
HD.However, I thought it would have to wait until my next upgrade and
that's not until next year.

However, my son has pointed me at the Transcend PCI Express USB 3.0 Dual
Expansion card and external USB 3.0 HD.

Has anyone gone this route yet, or are there any unseen snags I should
know about?
