Kate won the day.

Will she now be scratched off his Christmas Card list?

An even bigger gap in mine, though perhaps it's just that I'm even
grumpier? I'd have said the last place I'd go to was an aerodrome. Well,
perhaps not that but definitely an airport.

BTW, the highlight of my day has been the thought of Richard Branson's
being p...ed off about the fire. Not the loss of the house but if he'd
been there he'd definitely have been the hero. What a missed
opportunity. Much grinding of teeth.
