OK. In PS: File/New. Set Width, Height & Resolution to be compatible to the image on which you want a transparent area.. Set Color Mode to 'RGB Color', '8 bit'. Set Background contents to 'Transparent'. Open your image to be converted. Select the area that you want to be opaque. Edit/Copy then switch to the new 'transparent' file. Edit/Paste. Then File/Save As and select Format as gif and make sure the 'Transparency' box is ticked and Robert's is your mother's brother. M. Ps.
