Fred,
Thanks for the welcome. Already it sounds like an interesting setup.
All the best,

Mr Hunt welcome [well sort of] to the nutters. The Boss says you are into VFR
; hope it's not his kind of VFR -Very Funny Reasons as you are bound to see
about our uniforms, well stocked bar?in the mess. If there's any whiskey [sorry
Mike I mean whisky] about keep your eye on that Frank Fisher, providing Bones
hasn't got to it first.Oh make sure you get one of those wind up torches since
he fails to pay the electric bill,if he did he wouldn't buy the bulbs anyway.
Hope your entry to the mess won't be a mess like my entry to the mess [ it was
dark then] It was and still is littered with black bin bags bursting out soggy
cheese tomato pizza left overs which permanently stuck to my trousers and Toms
dog keeps having a nibble at them. If this info doesn't bother you you deserve
to be one of the noble nutters. Fred D207

  Mike,
Thanks for the welcome. I searched very carefully to find an
efficient, professional, highly disciplined organisation and I chose JHB!! I've
made a good number of daft decisions in my life but I think this will be one of
the better ones.
  Glad to be on board.
  All the best,
  John H

    Bones

I'm surprised to hear that there was any red diesel left. I - and I suspect
some of the others - have been running our cars on it for a while now. Since
the crew toilets have yet to be fixed, I suspect that you may find that the
pool is a different hydrocarbon, with a touch of ammonia to the odour.

Regarding outfits, you should realise that the lads feel rather strongly
about wearing skirts (at least during working hours) - even your two Scottish
pilots. Please make sure you buy from the mens section of the catalogue the
next time.

@ John Hunt - welcome to the asylum ...

I am sorry to interrupt you all during your coffee break but it is the
one time I can guarantee finding you all in the same place. Before any of you
ask I am trying hard to get the heating restored to the crew room and you may
have noticed Big Brian working on the oil tank at the rear of the building. He
will be back in a few days once his arm is better but in the meantime may I ask
you not to walk round that area or throw matches into the admittedly large pool
of red diesel that has collected after the incident. Anyway that is not the
reason I have popped in to see you.

I would like to introduce a new pilot to JHB. John Hunt has been using
FSX for several years and mostly in GA aircraft and VFR around the UK. He has
recently joined VATSIM/IVAO and would like to gain experience in both IFR and
online operations. I cannot think of a better bunch of wise, old pilots to help
him out. Well, I could, but they were too expensive..

John, welcome to the slightly mad world of JHB. I know the guys will take
you to one side and tell you that I run a shoestring outfit but that is just
their sense of humour. I hope you will enjoy flying with us.

Talking about outfits reminds me to tell you all that the last sets I
ordered were not too successful and replacements will be coming soon. There was
nothing poor about the quality of the last delivery from China but some
confusion may have crept in about the order. Somehow they got the impression
that pilots are fit and slim and made the clothes accordingly. I am in no way
suggesting you have all become a little more portly but the new outfits will be
let out slightly..
