Hello. You will need to install jaws for Windows on any server that you need to work with. Jaws for Windows has to be server side because jaws for Windows client side cannot read anything server-side because all that is shown is a graphical image that jaws cannot work with. If you do this you will also need to purchase the remote desktop add-on package from freedom scientific for approximately an extra $200. There is no other way that I know of to work with the server machine directly. I hope this helps. I am using Version Jaws 9.0.2169 pro with XP pro; I am trying to connect to several servers to maintain them via Microsoft Remote desktop (RDP) It says in the jaws documentation that I need to install jaws on the server machine; and I have all ready have jaws on my client machine; Therefore my question is that I do not want to install jaws on every server that I am maintaining and it is not visible to reboot the server after I install jaws! so what can I do and is their any other way of actually getting RDP working with jaws without installing jaws on the server? Thanks in advance as always!
