Easy. 1. From the run dialogue, type exactly what you see on the next line exactly the way you see it: control userpasswords2 This will open a special dialogue from which you can select your own user account to log on by default. Does anyone know how I can get my laptop to log on automatically? I used to be able to turn on my laptop, and it would automatically log on. Ever since I had someone reformat the hardrive and reinstall windows xp home, when I turn on the laptop, after it boots up jaws says jaws for windows is ready type in password and press enter to log on. When I hit enter it logs on and I am ready to go, but I want to be able to just turn my laptop on, and have it boot up then log on without me having to press enter. I'm using jaws 5.1, and windows xp home. There are no other accounts that have been created.
