I'd tell them they hav a choice. Either find a fix or buy me a good hardware synth. I live with the static, hate it, but after nearly a year of hearing it, I might miss it if it were to go away, it is especially noisy in spell check--it makes life interesting. The first was a custom-built job where everything came out more expensive than promised with more limitations than promised. The second was an HP which worked wonderfully and is sitting beside me looking for a use even now, and the third is my current Dell, which which I am extremely happy. I personally have not had any trouble with Dell and I have found the IBM products to be really good but kind of pricy. > -- > To post a message to the list, send it to jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send a message to jfw-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word unsubscribe in the subject line. > Archives located at: //www.freelists.org/archives/jfw > > If you have any concerns about the list, post received from the list, > or the way the list is being run, do not post them to the list.
