Try checking the task list with CTRL+ALT+DELETE and look for rundll32.exe. See what resources it is eating up when the computer is running slow. If you restart your computer that will clear up if it is what I think it is. Don't know exactly how to fix it but it seems to me to be something with the cookies from some or other site. Let us know how it goes. ----- Original Message ----- From: SANJAY TANDON To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Cc: SANJAY TANDON Sent: Saturday, April 29, 2006 10:23 AM Subject: computer and jaws both very slow hi Guys, Recently I have started experiencing a problem with jaws. For e.g. if I click on a email message it opens but jaws starts reading it after quite some time, but after the message is opened and I do insert down arrow then it starts reading immediately. Jaws starting to read late is not only with outlook express but also with other programs like word etc. On web pages it is much worse. in fact my machine on the whole has become very slow. If I open a program it takes a very long time to open it. I almost fall a sleep HA!HA! From my side I have done the following to correct this problem but no success. 1. Repaired jaws instillation. 2. I use AVG and it is always updated, checked that there is no virus. 3. run disk clean up, disk defragmenter and checked hard disk for errors. 4. manually cleared the temp and internet temp folder. 5.Run Regscrupxp for registry clean up and also run cleaner-free.exe the check on spy. This is really irritating please help. Thanks, Sanjay ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ No virus found in this incoming message.
