Okay.  Seems to me like you need to go in to the JAWS configuration manager, 
Press alt+s and then h for HTML settings.  From here, go to the 
Miscellaneous tab and choose to have JAWS  ignore flash movies.  You might 
prefer to do this in the default Configuration manager.

Just press insert+F2 then c for configuration manager.  From there, press 
control+shift+d.

Ray:  Thanks for your patience.  Sorry  I faild to make myself clear.  I did
as you suggest and if I check the setting again it is set to off.  However
after I try to play the video I find it still doesn't play smoothly.  So I
go back and recheck the menu coice and I find the Flash movie choice has
changed itself back to On.    In other words the setting seems to be
retained until I use it.  Kathye
