I'm not for or against tab browsing, though I will say it seems handy. But
what I wonder is, and this is a purely sincere question, not sarcastic:
What's the purpose in turning off tab browsing, unless in order to break
down a set of tabbed Web pages that you wish to become separate pages
completely, represented one by one on the task bar, in other words? I could
understand that as a reason to want to toggle tabbed browsing off at some
point. But why would there be any need to turn it off in general? From all I
learned so far by practicing with it and reading the documentation, a link
won't open as a tab if you don't deliberately request it to by pressing alt
Enter on the link or on a URL you've entered into the Address Bar with Alt D
(the Jaws Control O equivalent won't "support" this alt enter command). So
then why would there be a need to turn it off? It doesn't automatically make
every Web page you go to open as a tab, so far as I've understood.

Hihated tab browsing at first, but now I love it.

It's one of those things that if you stick with it initially it does save
time and effort. I have three homepages all loading up with internet
explorer and I just tab + CTRL between them as and when like in a dialogue
box.
