I use personalized menus, place makers and the speech and sounds
manager. I keep my Rent a Crowd for the web, and use as needed schemes
for editing and such in Word.

well chris, allow me to be the first, I do use place markers and
personalized web settings but that speech and sounds manager can be
scrapped for bettre functionality in my opinion. Kerri.

Speaking of remote access, I heard in an interview Eric Damery did that
FS is thinking about charging extra for remote desktop and citrix
support, I believe the figure he gave was somewhere in the area of $200.
Personally, I think this is pure d wrong. Window-eyes has access to
Citrix and remote desktop in the current version and it's absolutely
free. Why on earth
should we pay $200 for something that's available for free elsewhere?
FS
needs to get back on target with the user base, realize that we're not
interested in all these bells and whistles, and fix the outstanding
issues like the focus problems like others have said. But the question
is how this can be accomplished. There does appear to be a lot of bug
fixes in the 5.1 release so that's all good and well and I'm quite sure
people who use MS word will benefit from these. But I don't know a
single person who tells me that they've used place markers, the
personalized web settings or the speech and sounds manager. To be quite
blunt and forward, I think the
programmers are just showing off and saying, look what we can do!
Ifthey
could get back to basics I think it would go a long way to regaining
people's trust.
