Kirsten,
It may be time to try a repair. I'm copying two sets of instructions below.
The first assumes you got your original JAWS 12 by downloading it from the
website. The Second assumes you did the original JAWS 12 installation from
the FS disc.
1. find the .exe file you downloaded and installed Jaws from. Press Enter on
the filename, then take the Repair option instead of proceeding with a full
installation. No need to go online to obtain another file, and no need to
fully reinstall jaws.
2. insert your jaws 12 CD, go to where it says jaws setup. Then press enter
just as if you were going too install it again. Tab along until you find
three radio buttons. the first says modify, the second says repair, and the
third says uninstall or remove.

Help!!!
As you might remember yesterday I updated to the latest version of J12. This
morning when I switched my computer on, it is knackered! Jaws starts; I can
log in but sometimes I don't even get to the little windows 7 music and
sometimes I get slightly further than that before the computer restarts
itself. This is a cycle, it happens continually! I am fairly certain it's
all related to yesterday's update and potentially the computer crash happens
when jaws is loading the second time as it does after the log-in process to
windows.
I am totally stuck because I can't uninstall the update because the computer
won't stay on but without uninstalling it this problem will continue!
If anyone has any ideas, I'd appreciate receiving them!
