The recent j12 update has broken my computer!

Help!!!
As you might remember yesterday I updated to the latest version of J12. This
morning when I switched my computer on, it is knackered! Jaws starts; I can log
in but sometimes I don't even get to the little windows 7 music and sometimes I
get slightly further than that before the computer restarts itself. This is a
cycle, it happens continually! I am fairly certain it's all related to
yesterday's update and potentially the computer crash happens when jaws is
loading the second time as it does after the log-in process to windows.
I am totally stuck because I can't uninstall the update because the computer
won't stay on but without uninstalling it this problem will continue!
If anyone has any ideas, I'd appreciate receiving them!
