This is good for someone who is just getting started doing unattended installs of windows. I have all my programs install by themselves too, so I've got my own thing I do.

Hi,
See the www.jfwlite.com/programs page for the unattended installation
kit and directions on how to use it.

Perhaps you could elaborate on that? How can I install windows without a screen reader? What about my BIOS settings? As far as I know they are correct.

I sure would hate to have to do that since it requires a lot of sighted assistance to get back up and running. If your bios is configured correctly you can do an install of windows with out sited help. And you can get everything back up and running with no sited help. If your bios is not configured correctly then you will need sited help for that but after that you can do it all on your own.

Hi, have you tried a fresh install of windows. Maybe there is a problem with your windows witch is causing the list system tray feature not to work. Some times the easyist way to fix a problem is to reinstall windows. This is true with almost every windows program. Xp is better at not needed to be reinstalled as much but it is some time needed. Ok then, I still have the problem. What would you recommend I try next to solve it?

Jim,

One would be offended when someone else told them that they couldn't
follow instructions. Yes and if I said that they might. But I never did
so. And if one would be a fended that is because that one maid a choice
to be so. If my directing people at the help file is offensive then as
I said no afence was intended. If you are a fended though you have maid
the choice to be so and there is nothing I can say or do to change that.
Just because you can't make a problem happen does not mean that no one
else can have the problem. I never said that ither. I simply pointed out
that I was unable to reproduce the problem. I also said I stood
corrected as I never seen it not work. The JAWS tutorials are far from
being able to solve every problem that could possibly come up on a
persons system. I agree with this and never said it could Nore did I
imply it could. In this case the help topics for jaws does attempt to do
so. And it is clear to me that the user in this case did not refair to
these. For as he writes in another message It is to a fs problem and
they do not bother to explain these configuration changes. And guess
what I checked the help and it is not there. How ever when I checked the
help as my next message shows it clearly was there. Infact I offer a
quote from that section of the help file to illustrate the fact it is
there. Hth
