I tried to look through my contacts with NVDA and it didn't work. I'm using
Office 2007 Professional and I had to reboot the computer to get JAWS up and
going again and straighten out the mess I got myself in.
I use NVDA on a flash drive to work on my friends computers but that's about
it.
I have been using JAWS since 1996 and I'm not going anywhere.
Remember, cars aren't the only things recalled by their maker!

Hi everyone,
First, I want to apologize if this isn't an appropriate question for this
list. I understand it is primarily a JAWS list . If any of you have info or
opinions you could share with me though, perhaps you won't mind answering
off-list?
I am trying to determine how the free NVDA product compares with JAWS for
basic screen reading. I don't use most of the bells and whistles of JAWS
anyway and am wondering if I should re-new my SMA agreement. If NVDA will do
most of what JAWS does, I am thinking that may be just as good for my needs.
I have never used it though and have my doubts whether it is as functional
as JAWS.
Any suggestions or thoughts about this will be appreciated.
