Hi, NVDA is a screen reader like JAWS except for the pricetag which is free. I have been considering switching to a Mac ever since I discovered how user friendly they are and that they have a built in screen reader and magnifier. Yes, I knwo Microsoft does too, but those are very basic. I got the chance to play with an ipad recently and was very impressed with the entire experience and usability. JAWS Each to their own. I am personally needing to cut some costs and if I can get by just fine using NVDA instead of shelling out $200 for the SMA, that's what I'll probably do.
