When you first open the document in p d f, do you get a dialog box asking
you how it wants to do the option of getting the doc prepaired for screen
readers?. Let me know and then we can go from there to set it up. This is
why you get the no page available.

Subject: PDF "empty document" frustration

Hi listers,

I'm using the most current Jaws with Adobe Reader 8.1. I'm trying to
read a PDF document downloaded from a web site, and all I get is the
"alert: empty document" stuff. This document is less than ten pages
and I really need access to this information. Save as text resulted
in a blank document as well. I searched the Adobe site but no luck
on resolving this problem. Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Norma
