I also had a hard time figuring out what Chris was talking about.  When I
wand to close a message in outlook I just hit the escape key.  If I want to
delete it I can hit control D or the delete key.  To get to the next unread
message hit control U, to bring down a blank message the command is control
N and to send it the control is alt S.  Yes, to read all the command is
insert 2 but to read it line by line just use the arrow keys.  Again, to get
out of the message simply hit the escape key.  Hope this helps, Judith
