Then Tom, use an earlier version of JAWS. JAWS is a tail on the
Microsoft dog.

don't bet on it, Richard.
I contacted FS to say that five didn't read access 97 as well as 4.5 and
was told that all development work on that had stopped. They said I
should get a more modern version. The idea that we get more modern
programmes to suit the screen reader is tails wagging dogs as we say in
Scotland.

  Hi,

I have Access 2000. Versions of JAWS after 4.51 have problems with
Access.
It is tough to do anything in design view in Access. I would contact
F.S.
and give them a complete discription of your problem. Hopefully, they
will
be able to find a solution.
