Bob,
It sounds like you have some non-standard list boxes. I know there are some of
these floating around on the web. The Creative Labs site may still have some
of them. When I signed up with the iTunes Store for an account, I had to
toggle the Virtual Cursor off with Insert+z, or JAWS Key+z if you prefer, in
order to choose some of the list items. If you haven't tried that trick on
these list boxes, you might give it a shot.

No, because you need to have an account set up. Thanks though.

Can you send us the link to that site, and tell us which list is causing
the problem? Maybe one of us can attack it to see if we can help.

Thanks for all the suggestions, but so far nothing works, and I can't
find any help in the JAWS help topics either.

          David,

Wasn't there some special keystroke, involving either F8 or numeric 8
that caused a list to be "stalled" long enough to allow browsing? I just can't
remember.

            Hello Bob;

okay, when your trying to open the list box, or, different
definitions, do you hear, combo box?
if so, try pressing the enter key, you'll hear forms mode, then try
alt+down arrow to open.

Try Alt+downarrow when you're on the list, and see if that
opens it. Then you should be able to use the up/down arrow to scroll through
the list. Then tab away to any other element or button. It's been a while since
I used JAWS 8 or 9, so working from memory.

I'm using JAW's 8, and wondering if there is a way to open a
list box on a web site. Its Webster's dictionary, and when there are multiple
definitions, i can only access the main one. Happy holidays to all...
