Is the JAWS cursor following the PC cursor? That can cause some pretty
flaky behavior, including symptoms similar to what you're describing.

Subject: Jaws opening submenus of context menus

Hello List:
I have already sent this question to Freedom Scientific tech support but

I am wondering if I can get an answer before tomorrow. This is truly
driving me nuts!

Thanks to all for any help on this.

Doug

If I open a context menu using the applications key and arrow to an
item that contains a sub menu, the sub menu automaticly seems to open.

Pressing
the left arrow key does not close the sub menu. Is this a Windows or
Jaws problem? How do I fix this behaviour? This is making the use of a
lot of my
applications almost useless.

Thanks in advance,

Doug
