It's always happened, since I got this new computer with XP Pro on it and this later version of JFW.

Sounds like something may be corrupted somewhere, Claudia. Do you remember
when this first started happening? What changes in your system did you make
before it happened? The only thing I can think of at this point that might
help is a repair to Internet Explorer.

Subject: Jaws and OE Problem

Hello All,

I'm so sorry for posting this again, but I'm hoping that someone may be able to help me with this. I'm currently using JFW 7.10 with Windows XP Pro and
OE 6, I believe. When I open an e-mail at times, Jaws will read it fine.
However, when I try to exit from the message, nothing happens. I press
delete and nothing; I press escape and nothing. After a few attempts, I get
the message to close, but when I press delete, it will not happen, so I
can't move forward to another message. Jaws just focuses on that one
message. I then try to close OE and try restarting it. However, when I
press the start key, there is no focus and Jaws won't read any of my
programs. Inevitably, I have to end up shutting down the computer manually, which I don't like to do, with the power button, but I can't get it to power
down any other way. If I turn it back on and go back to the same message,
the problem occurs again.

Any ideas on this?

Claudia
