yeah, there needs to be a better way of doing that.  I find often that
maximize doesn't work as well.

Hi David,

My only problem with using the notebook layout is that I can't use the + key
to open the contracted filenames i Windows Explorer!!

Apart from that, I can do everything else just as well...
