I used the Soundblaster Live and it worked very well. I now have a
Turtle Beach and it also works well but the music isnot as good as the
Soundblaster.
Only problem with the Creative Labs cards is to be sure that you have
the echo, reverb and so on flat otherwise the speech is not as easy to
listen to.

I can't imagine there's a sound card that specifically won't work with
jfw, I'd say she probably shouldn't switch sound cards, but call FS
instead for some help (assuming that the sound card is otherwise working
ok).
What kind of problems is she having?
