Hi, ok if she is using xp then have her get the latest driver from the
creative web sight and install it. See if that helps there are some
issues with the driver that ships with xp. I my self still use these
drivers but I am using the card for music not for speech and so the
issues do not really effect me. One of the issues is a real bad
crackle when ever you switch from a wave file or based file to software
speech. It also does this when muting speech and tends to stutter.
