Thanks for the info, but at this point I don't like what MSN Messenger has
done to my system and just want to get things back to normal without it.  I
have to get sighted help from time to time too, but if a software installer
won't let me do the install, or if the software seems to routinely require
sighted help, I label it junk and move on to better solutions.  There is no
excuse for such products.  My thoughts on this are based on over 20 years of
programming experience, 3 years of that now being blind, so I know these
apps can be built totally accessible right out of the box and have no use
for problem causing software to the extent that this has caused on my
otherwise stable system.  I guess it just comes down to the fact that I know
it can be better so I have no patience or use for poorly working software as
a result.  Again, thanks for your comments, and I'm glad it's at least
working okay for you.
