hello Chris, I'm afraid what you say doesn't equate with what I hear when I press Insert Control S. I don't hear a list of synthesizers., innless I misunderstand what you mean by that term here. What I hear is a list of options I have no idea what they are (pardon the weird grammar). What I land on at first is the options Classic, above and below which are numerous other things. Classic with quotes, classic with attributes, colors, indent, and much more. The list announces itself as a list of schemes. Not synthesizers. So first, is this not what you guys are referring to, this list? Second, what, if you'll pardon my ignorance in this regard, is a "scheme?" I know what a scheme is, generally speaking, in the sense of a color scheme, for instance. Like a red, white and blue color scheme for the design of the bags for the long, thin deep-fried cut potatoes, to be used during periods of international tension with a certain country. Just kidding. But what is this list about? Passing Insert F1 while I'm in it yields information only about how to navigate and use the list. I don't mind looking this up, but I'd appreciate being directed to a book and topic in the Jaws help. Thanks. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chris Jenkins" <saveup@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, May 21, 2007 1:30 PM Subject: RE: Insert Control S list settings Hello. Jawes key + control + S opens a list of speech synthesizers which you can select from. Jawes key +v Opens the list of verbosity options from which you can choose and the last option in this list will mute your speech synthesizer. After you mute your speech if you press Jawes key +v the speech synthesizer will be turned back on. I hope this helps. Chris. -----Original Message----- From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Yardbird Sent: Monday, May 21, 2007 2:48 PM To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Insert Control S list settings Ted, What is this?
