What version of openbook?  with older versions of openbook and jaws I had to
assign seperate hot-keys to load one the load the other after the first was
unloaded.  This is because they both took over the synth.  There is a way to not
load openbooks voice and just use jaws.  I     did think your problem was fixed
with newer versions.  To summarize, if you can't get them compatable and can't
get openbook to use jaws's voice, create h    o    tkeys for both programs and
unload one before loading the other.
